Rep. Ro Khanna Calls Mark Ruffalo ‘One of the Great Humanitarians of Our Time’

Fuzzy Chimp

Mark Ruffalo has overtaken Sean Penn as the most obnoxious lefty actor. At least Penn is mostly quiet these days. As Twitchy reported, Ruffalo (like all Democrats and progressives) opposes the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. The claim it will cost the industry jobs, but their biggest problem is that Paramount is owned by the son of Oracle founder Larry Ellison, a big Trump donor. They're afraid that Paramount is going to turn CNN into a conservative news channel.

As we reported the other day, Ruffalo posted a message on Instagram warning against the merger and Oracle’s complicity in “what we now have come to see as a genocide” against Palestinians while questioning why “Trump pushed this illegal merger through.” Paramount hit back with a statement reading, in part, "We are, as always, troubled when antisemitic tropes are invoked in purported service of a business dispute. Words like ‘genocide’ and ‘apartheid,’ applied to a corporate transaction, aren’t just wrong — they’re a bridge too far, and they cheapen the very real suffering those words are meant to describe."

Ruffalo has since posted that he's not antisemitic, noting he has Jewish friends: "Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life."

For some reason, Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna decided to step in, calling Ruffalo "one of the great humanitarians of our time."

The post concludes:

… is one of the great humanitarians of our time.

Greta Van Susteren absolutely does have some thoughts on Ruffalo:

The post continues:

… others write :) Finally, I asked Ruffalo to meet me for coffee and talk and he never responded. #ScaredyCat :) As for great humanitarian…I have yet to see him at an earthquake disaster (I have been to many) or tornados (I have been to many.) BTW, I never saw Mark in Israel right after Oct 7 when I was there nor did I see him at a screening of the Hamas 47 minute tape where they brag about killing and raping.

Khanna is vouching for both Bernie Sanders and Ruffalo. That's not worth much.

Ruffalo opposes the merger not because he's afraid of a conservative owning another media company, but because Ellison is over at Oracle building Jewish space lasers to commit genocide against the Palestinians.
