Hasan Piker Angry With Think Tank Third Way for 'Preparing for War' Against Democratic Socialism

Third Way is a supposedly centrist U.S. think tank seeking middle ground between the Democratic and Republican parties, though it's charitable to say most of its proposals are center-left, if not progressive. The New York Times' Shane Goldmacher reports that Third Way has kicked off a new $15 million program to take on the rising Democratic Socialist movement.

NEWS: Third Way has a new $15 million program to take on — and try to take down the rising democratic socialism movement.

“We are preparing for the next war."

Third Way is getting roasted in the replies for not fighting the fascists in the Republican Party and not listening to the increasingly influential Democratic Socialists. Not surprisingly, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed fanboy Hasan Piker was among them.

if there is a hitlerian tyrant in office and these supposed liberal allies at turdway are trying to chop the anti fascist movements legs, what can you call them but collaborators? the time to pick a side is coming. https://t.co/UaZpxUAtoR

But you admire tyrants and dictatorships, didn't you say Mao Zedong was great? And love the Cuban regime?

I’ll pick whichever one you’re not on.

Your side is crushing it with downwardly mobile white people, great job theatre kid.

Is that a threat Hasan? Yes, you're right the time is coming. You won't like the outcome.

When you state America deserved 9/11 as well as celebrate Mao, you’ve picked your side and it’s not this country or the majority of people in this country.

You love terrorism

He's claimed Hamas is a thousand times better than Israel.

I’m on whatever side is against your side.

You've become the kiss of death, for that I thank you.

Please continue exposing those that work with your terrorist supporting ass.

The self unwareness by you is astounding.

So, you're either for "Hitlerian tyrant" Donald Trump or the DSA, which wants to abolish the presidency (and the Senate, and the Electoral College, and prisons, and borders). The DSA makes Chuck Schumer seem downright centrist, and look at how El-Sayed repaid him for his endorsement — he wants Sen. Chris Van Hollen to replace Schumer as minority leader.

Are there any sane Democrats who Piker and his followers could be campaigning for? Look at how they view John Fetterman: "You put one ogre on a pike, and then everyone else gets the message," El-Sayed said, with Fetterman being the ogre.
