Pro-Hamas Protesters Cheer as UK Police Arrest Pro-Israel Protester

AP Photo/Kin Cheung

If you've read my VIP posts, you know I consider myself a bit of an Anglophile and managed to visit London back in 2001, the month before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. That's why it depresses me so much to write all of these posts about what the Metropolitan Police have been reduced to. Even since I visited, England has been overrun with migrants from most Muslim countries, and the government's policy seems to be to crack down on anything that might stir up racial animus. You don't dare post on Facebook that you're sick of all the Pakistani flags flying on your street, or the police will be at your door with handcuffs.

I reported earlier Saturday about a Jewish protester who was arrested for holding up a cartoon of Lebanese terror chief, Hasan Nasrallah, with a pager and the words "beep, beep, beep" for about three minutes. "Do you think showing this image to persons protesting who are clearly pro-Hezbollah and anti-Israel, that by doing so would stir up racial hatred further than it is already?" asked the booking officer.

So here I am again with another example of two-tier policing. A man shouting "the people of Israel live on" at a pro-Hamas rally in London was eventually arrested by the Metropolitan Police and put in cuffs. Why? I'm not sure, but probably because he was "stirring up racial hatred." Watch this:

And the pro-Hamas crowd applauds the police as they arrest him. How do you live with yourself being a police officer and so staunchly against free speech?

They arrested a Jew because he might offend supporters of Hezbollah.

Exactly.

And this all comes from the top. Prime Minister Kier Starmer has been posting some shockingly "far-right" things on X recently, like how English is the official language of England and migrants should learn to speak it. But he stands idly by as injustices like this occur.

The U.K. is lost.
