Will Toxic Empathy Destroy Our Nation?

As I reported last night, the Supreme Court, by a 5-4 vote, lifted a court order blocking President Donald Trump from deporting Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act. Suck it, Judge Boasberg.

I was a big fan during her confirmation, but I'm having my doubts about Justice Amy Coney Barrett. She sided with the dissent, so that all of the women on the Court believed that the illegal alien gangbangers should have been returned to American soil. End Wokeness took notice.

That was disappointing to hear. William Wolfe posted an interesting question about "toxic empathy" — will it end up destroying our nation?

I like that term, toxic empathy. There's been a funny AI-generated video going around of Democrats like AOC and Nancy Pelosi hugging MS-13 and Tren de Aragua gang members. Remember when it was a week-long news cycle when Trump called MS-13 gang members animals. The media, of course, ran with the narrative that Trump had called all migrants animals. Pelosi even got spiritual, asking if even the MS-13 members had a "spark of divinity." Planned Parenthood was also very offended by Trump dehumanizing MS-13.

Did these people not have a problem with MS-13's motto: "Kill, Rape, Control"?
