Rep. Jasmine Crockett Says DOGE Will End Up Costing Us Money

In a post I did earlier tonight, someone asked, "Is there anyone dumber than AOC in Congress"? Hank Johnson got a few votes for his comments about Guam capsizing, and Maxine Waters also got a shout-out. The great majority of the replies, though, said Jasmine Crockett. Crockett appeared on MSNBC (where else?), where the chyron suggests that the topic of discussion was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who inspired the "Crockett Clapback Collection," a line of T-shirts reading "Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body," being tapped to work with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy in the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. So who better to have on than Crockett?

Crockett explained how DOGE will end up costing money:

… while creating a new agency to somehow get rid of wasting money. Like it's a joke."

Crocket later agreed that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy were the "bureaucrats" Americans should be afraid of.

Yes, but it's an agency with an expiration date. It's going to do its job and then dissipate. The only way DOGE would cost money is if they hired 87,000 people as the IRS did.

And who does MSNBC bring on to talk about government waste that the New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay, who said Michael Bloomberg could have given every single American $1 million instead of spending the money $500 million on campaign ads.

She'll have you know that she has an honorary doctorate.

DOGE involves Elon Musk, and Musk campaigned with Donald Trump, so DOGE must be bad.
