London Police Explain Why They Arrested Man With Anti-Hamas Sign

As I've said before, I visited London back in 2001 and it was the best week of my life. I've wanted to go back ever since, but it looks like there's no going back. That was London 23 years ago.

The London Metropolitan Police keep posting on X explaining themselves. As we reported in October, Metropolitan Police were filmed taking down posters of Israelis who'd be kidnapped and taken hostage by Hamas on October 7. The Metropolitan Police released a statement saying they believed "the officers were acting in good faith here." The officers removed the posters, the statement said, in order to avoid "escalating tensions" in the community.

Now the Metropolitan Police are explaining themselves again after they were caught on video arresting a man carrying a poster that read, "Hamas is terrorist."

The police put out a statement that the man was arrested for assault, but once the officers reviewed the footage, he was "de-arrested."

The police were just trying to avoid "escalating tensions."

In case that wasn't enough to prove the police are trying to silence the pro-Israel crowd, here's video from last month with the Metropolitan Police harassing a guy for calling the Hamas sympathizers racists:

They really are. They're just protection for the pro-Hamas crowd … can't allow anything to upset them.

London really is gone.
