As Twitchy reported earlier, Attorney Benjamin Crump appears to have lost that tweet about a white woman attempting to STEAL a bike from a young black man and then “weaponizing her tears” to paint the black man as a threat — EXACTLY the same type of behavior that has endangered so many black men in the past.
The woman’s lawyer is talking about defamation lawsuits, and we desperately hope Crump is named as a defendant.
Still up, though, is Crump’s tweet claiming that Makiyah Bryant was unarmed, despite bodycam video clearly showing her brandishing a knife. So it’s pretty clear that Crump doesn’t care if his tweets are true or not, as long as they serve his narrative.
Perhaps as a distraction from his defamation of that nurse, Crump has posted a tweet recognizing Michael Brown’s birthday.
Today, Michael Brown would have turned 27 yrs old. At only 18, Michael was shot and killed in Ferguson, Missouri. The Obama administration’s own autopsy showed Brown was rushing the cop when he was shot.
“Hands up, don’t shoot” was a lie, the girl was unarmed was a lie, the nurse tried to steal a black man’s bike was a lie. And that’s just off the top of our heads.
