As Twitchy reported earlier, New York Times opinion contributor and Democratic digital media/polling strategist Elizabeth Spiers assured us that she’s ridden the subway in New York City for 23 years perfectly safely, although she did say some douchebag tried to grab her ass once, if you even consider that a crime. That’s just life in the city.
It’s hours later and Spiers still has thoughts on the safety of the subway. Perhaps knowing what a fan of Venn diagrams Kamala Harris is, she drew up a Venn diagram of men who have an arsenal of guns and men who are afraid to ride the subway.
The Venn diagram overlap between men who amass an arsenal of guns and talk about being a brave alpha male, and won’t take the subway in NYC because they once saw a homeless person peeing there and declare it “unsafe” is a perfect circle

I’ve lived here for 23 years and grew up with guns in the nearly equal amount of time I spent in rural Alabama. I’m also 5’1” and some of you have pets that weigh more than me. And I am not afraid of the subway, big bad dudes.
— Elizabeth Spiers (@espiers) May 8, 2023
I also saw just as much homelessness where I grew up but there were fewer services for them and almost none for mentally ill people. So when my veteran and conservative brother had a schizophrenic break in his 20s, there was one facility he could go to. 2 hrs away.
— Elizabeth Spiers (@espiers) May 8, 2023
So no, I don’t see a homeless or mentally ill person and assume they’re gonna murder me and put them in a chokehold, (which my Army veteran big sis can do even though she’s tiny like me, so don’t start with sexist shit)
— Elizabeth Spiers (@espiers) May 8, 2023
Weird that her brother and sister are both veterans but she appears not to be.
There’s a reason why homeless people often find a way to get to big cities – they think they’ll be better taken care of. Which is an indictment of people who insist the best Christians live in rural America. The most vulnerable don’t think so,
— Elizabeth Spiers (@espiers) May 8, 2023
So she’s bringing Christianity into it too? Wow, we need to look up some of her opinion pieces in the Times — we’re learning so much.
I wont go because if I fuck someone up while defending myself, my ass goes to Rikers for some reason.

Having a concealed weapon in New York is a class E felony.
— Texture (@iamtexture) May 8, 2023
You can't carry guns in NYC so that seems like a reasonable decision to make.
— Wraith (@WraithTE) May 8, 2023
Tweet through it, sis.

Yes, but the circle happens to be empty.

Your attempts to gaslight people into thinking the NYC subways are safe and cool is hilarious.
— T_p_tio 🎈 (@Txp_RBI_Xctuxl) May 8, 2023
I’ve seen enough such things in subways, treated like it’s normal, to know that’s not the kind of culture I want to be around.
If you’re ok with people urinating randomly in public as normalized behavior, you do you.
— Neuroomba (@ctdonath) May 8, 2023
Where to begin with the flaws in Elizabeth’s “point.”

This sounded smart and sassy in your head, didn't it?
— 703Kyle (@703Kyle) May 8, 2023
Sorry you got ratio’d

Jesus Christ, lady, seethe harder.

The Venn Diagram between cities that are the biggest shitholes and cities run by Democrats is a perfect circle.

I own a car and don't have a piss fetish.
Your attempt at dimestore psychology is a boatload of fail.

Her degree is from Duke, y’all, and she posted this.
Duke should ask for its degree back and refund her money. pic.twitter.com/jfvEdqYe8q

The Venn Diagram of crazed liberals who will defend those who assault women and children on subways and also believe you should not have a gun to stop your wife's murderer is a perfect circle.
— Martha's Vineyard Refugee (@DavidKunca) May 8, 2023
You take 2 stops in Manhattan. Hush.
— Goof (@biggoofster) May 8, 2023
What about the Venn diagram of liberal women who are trying to normalize groping and pissing in the subway and people named Elizabeth Spiers?
All those statistics about crime on the subway must be made up to scare people.
