As Twitchy reported, MSNBC managed to find an ex-cop who was an eyewitness to the Allen, Texas mall shooting who said the AR-15 was an automatic rifle and that people are carrying around M4s on the street. MSNBC had more to say about the mass shooting and brought together a stellar panel that included Claire McCaskill. McCaskill managed to work Jesus into her gun control pitch, saying Jesus wouldn’t embrace people carrying around “weapons of war.”

Democratic legislators like McCaskill used to be always seem to look at Christians as a barrier to what they want to accomplish, whether it’s abortion without restrictions or the genital mutilation of minors. But they also play up the myth that Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are devout Catholics.
