We’ve all heard about “trans genocide” — the literal extermination of transgender persons through legislation that bans minors from receiving “gender-affirming care” that could alter their bodies for life and leave them sterile. A number of states have passed such laws, but other states have swung in the other direction. California Sen. Scott Wiener — we are so sick of this guy — proposed a bill that would make the state a “Transgender State of Refuge”:

Seattle radio host Jason Rantz reports that Washington Democrats are taking that a step further.
Washington Democrats just passed the most extremist bill in the country. If a minor runs away from home, they can receive "gender affirming care" (including surgeries) without parental consent and without the state being compelled to tell the parents where their child is. 🧵

Though Democrats will tell you this is to protect trans kids in abusive households, there is NO requirement that abuse even be alleged.
They define a compelling reason to keep this from a parent as: a youth is "seeking or receiving protected health care services."

"Protected health care services" means gender affirming treatment as defined in RCW 74.09.675.

Democrats believe if you even question your kid's newly claimed identity, you are abusive. They don't stop and think about whether or not they're pushing these kids into taking these positions.
