New York Times headline ties Balenciaga scandal to QAnon and Fox News

As Twitchy reported earlier, the harpies of “The View” couldn’t even bring themselves to condemn the now-pulled ad campaign by Balenciaga that brought together young children and bondage gear.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the “conservative” one, said:

I found this ad campaign particularly distasteful, um, in this moment. So there’s this, there’s growing anti-LGBTQ sentiment right now, and how it’s being framed is as portraying, you know, trans people as groomers. This is a term you’ll hear on the far Right. They’re groomers. This is where you get the anti-drag-queen stuff that we’re seeing. So Balenciaga played right into their hands by having kids in a sexualized manner, carrying something that represents, you know, sex acts.

So the ad campaign was distasteful “in this moment” because it played into the hands of conservatives. Maybe if they’d run the ads another time it would have been OK, but not now, when Drag Queen Story Hour is under attack.

The New York Times has also weighed in, lumping in the ad campaign with Fox News and QAnon.

“Fueled by allegations.” They can’t even say it.

So it’s discredited because Fox News reported on it?
