Miles 'Anonymous' Taylor floats some names for Speaker (Adam Kinzinger?) and it's 'not political fantasy'

You remember Miles Taylor, right? He was the “senior administration official” who wrote an anonymous op-ed in the New York Times trashing the Trump administration from within, leading CNN’s Chris Cillizza to suggest it might be someone as high up as Mike Pence. That’s what he’s “famous” for. CNN kept him on as a contributor even though he lied to Anderson Cooper about being “Anonymous.”

Now he’s just Miles Taylor, a guy who quit the GOP and thinks we need an outsider for Speaker of the House (which is now official in Republican hands). But who? How about Adam Kinzinger? Michael Steele? Christine Todd Whitman? Actor Matthew McConaughey? This is “not political fantasy.”

A unifying centrist, like Kinzinger.

Actually, Taylor’s followers seem to think that Liz Cheney is the woman for the job. Or … Nancy Pelosi? Taylor tweeted this yesterday when it was about 99 percent certain that Republicans would take the House, and today that’s been settled officially. So no to this entire idea.
