We try very hard here at Twitchy not to duplicate each other’s posts, which is why this editor checked to see if we hadn’t already covered this yesterday. We did, but only because MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace covered it then too. As we reported Monday, Wallace asked her guests, “Do you think it’s time to ask for friends and allies to come over and help us monitor our elections?” So, foreign interference in elections is a good thing?
We’re old enough to remember that Democrats in 2012 suggested calling in UN observers to oversee our election and as the biggest troll ever, Vladimir Putin offered to send in Russian election observers in 2016.
Here we are a day later, and MSNBC’s Claire McCaskill was telling Wallace that we will have to have other countries sending monitors to America to watch our votes if people don’t show up and vote in November in these midterms. In other words, if the turnout is light and favors Republicans, then the 2024 election is fixed. That all “people showing up to vote” means to people like McCaskill … it means Democrats win like they’re supposed to.

Does that include ballot harvesting from mail on votes? Best that countries with voter ID come monitor. That would be everyone except the US.

That’s odd she said if people don’t show up and vote? What does that have to do with people monitoring? If people don’t show up they just don’t show up how would monitoring change that.
