In 2020, Target removed Abigail Shrier’s “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze That’s Seducing Our Daughters” from its book selection, seeming after a single tweet complaining about it being transphobic. Soon after, ACLU lawyer Chase Strangio tweeted that “stopping the circulation of this book and these ideas is 100% a hill I will die on.” So the ACLU is for book banning now.
“Irreversible Damage” looked at the rocketing numbers of young girls who had declared that they were transgender. Were there always that many, but they just kept it inside? Or was there some sort of social contagion going on that made it desirable to be transgender?
The Daily Caller reports that Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland has seen a 582 percent increase in the number of students who identify as “gender nonconforming” in the past two years. That’s quite an increase.

Chrissy Clark reports:
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) gathered this data from forms school counselors fill out when students approach them to talk about gender identity issues. Because the numbers rely on self-reporting, the near-sevenfold increase from 2019 to 2022 could indicate a massive increase in the number of gender-diverse students, an environment that encourages those students to be more open with counselors or both.
The data — which is not publicly available to parents or taxpayers — was posted to Twitter on Oct. 6 when educator Elicia Eberhart-Bliss shared an image of a slide show presented at a meeting of the district’s “Pride ALLiance.”
During the 2019-2020 school year, a total of 35 students reported gender nonconformity to a counselor, including four elementary students, 19 middle school students and 12 high schoolers. During the 2021-2022 school year the total number of students reporting gender nonconformity spiked to 239, including 18 elementary students, 129 middle schoolers and 92 high schoolers.

It’s almost as if schools go out of their way to celebrate gender nonconformity. In each school, there’s a guidance counselor who can’t wait for the next student to come in and out herself so they can put all of their queer theory into practice.
Coincidence

So, where's the evidence of the suicide epidemic that was occurring before these kids were allowed to transition?
— kokomored (@kokomored1) October 11, 2022
There's are simple reasons for this. Kids see the attention this is getting, they want to have opinions and beliefs that are 'in vogue', they want to please the adults in their lives, they're afraid to go against what they're seeing as the norm…

This is a direct result of the constant bombardment on TikTok and other grooming sites.

My daughter is in a Montgomery County public school. She often tells me a classmate is non-binary, trans, or bisexual. It’s clear she doesn’t fully understand these terms, but it’s also clear teachers are stressing that she and her classmates learn and even apply them. She’s ten.

My 12 year old son says all he sees on his social media pages is info on gender identity & transgender kids.He said it is made to “ look cool”His opinion is kids his age are trying hard to fit in, find friends & be popular so these posts can influence lost kids to trans ideology

That will get your book pulled from the shelves.
My daughter played lacrosse in Berks County against a club that had 3 boys on it identifying as girls. It's statistically impossible that those boys suffer DSC supporting the need for them to be trans. but instead are psychologically/sociologically trans.

Young people these days. My generation was happy with far less. Today they're on the internet before they can walk and speak in complete sentences and know they're not "Owned" by their parents. It's the dawning of a new age.

As Twitchy reported earlier, Vice President Kamala Harris has taken Hillary Clinton’s “It Takes a Village” philosophy and run with it.
It's how kids get attention they missing from their fathers.

Kids are impressionable, and adults are taking advantage of this fact.

Remember, it’s NOT a social contagion. They will NOT grow out of it. We MUST perform extensive surgeries and pump them full of artificial hormones or you are a BIGOT

Given societal and cultural influences in addition to educators and counselors secretly grooming young children it’s not surprising. Concerning nonetheless, but not surprising.
— Logic Space (@LogicSpaceNow) October 11, 2022
Can the school district explain this or are we to believe that schools have become such an “inclusive” environment that all of these transgender children feel free to express themselves?
