Last week, The Daily Signal’s Douglas Blair asked Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser about the requirement that all school students be vaccinated against COVID-19 and how it would affect 40 percent of black students in the city. Bowser disagreed with that number, so maybe she doesn’t even read her own city’s websites:
I asked D.C. @MayorBowser how she could justify forcing 40% of unvaccinated black students to stay home from school. She said my numbers were wrong. They're her numbers. pic.twitter.com/Gmoidu1YuU

In a follow-up, Blair reports that Bowser has announced that unvaccinated students will not be allowed in school, and there won’t be an option for virtual learning.
BREAKING: According to D.C. @MayorBowser, unvaccinated students will not be allowed in school, nor will there be virtual learning. They will be denied an education. https://t.co/uPiXgmVnIo

Blair reports:
During a press conference, Bowser, a Democrat, admitted there are no alternative options, including virtual learning, for students who cannot attend school due to the District’s vaccine mandate, meaning unvaccinated children will effectively be left without an education.
Over 40% of blacks ages 12-17 are not vaccinated, according to city data.
The Daily Signal asked Bowser what the plan was for unvaccinated students. Washington, D.C. public schools start Monday.
…
The Office continued that “if the student does not come into compliance within a 20-school day period, the school must remove the student from school until the immunization certification is secured by the school.”

Did we happen to mention that Washington, D.C.’s Dr. Jill Biden, who’s been quadruple-jabbed, just got COVID again, like her husband? In the city’s one smart move, children under 12 are exempt from the vaccination requirement.

Call their bluff. No school district wants to lose funding from this many students. This is gross coercion.

This is criminal and child neglect

Shots don’t stop transmission or infection.
There is absolutely no reason to mandate them for anyone
Kids have less risk of dying than any other demo.
Mandates for them are obscene.

I'm sure parents will be prosecuted for truancy if their children do not attend public school.

Worse, as many as 40% of black school children between the ages of 12-15 are NOT vaccinated in Washington, DC. These children will be completely deprived of an education, but Bowser will make the white liberals in Georgetown and Cleveland Park happy. https://t.co/YJpMtllzy2

Best thing that could happen for them, really.

We've gotten to the point that no school is better than school. Unreal.

Will this rule apply to all of the migrants being bussed to D.C. from Texas and Arizona? Rules don’t seem to apply to them, ever.
