New Jersey teachers union runs ad condemning extremist attacks from parents

Despite the blowback the National School Board Association faced after it coordinated with the White House to write its letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking for help from “domestic terrorists” who were showing up at school board meetings, Garland said he wasn’t going to disband the Justice Department’s domestic terrorism task force. And as far as we know, he hasn’t.

The New York Post is reporting that the New Jersey chapter of the National Education Association has posted on YouTube a short ad condemning these political extremists also known as concerned parents.

Just look at those angry parents pointing.

The Post reports:

A New Jersey teachers union condemned parents who confront school officials at school board meetings as “extremist” in a new advertisement this week.

The New Jersey chapter of the National Education Association (NEA), the largest teachers union in America, posted the short ad on YouTube. The ad flips back and forth between colorful photos of teachers with students and black-and-white photos of parents, arguing that the latter are trying to fuse politics with education.

“When extremists start attacking our schools, that’s not who we are,” the video says. “People who only want to fight to score political points should take that somewhere else.”

“When extremists start attacking our schools.”

They already have.

You’d think the unions would have learned from the Virginia gubernatorial election that you don’t mess with parents.
