Karine Jean-Pierre isn't going to talk about 'alleged materials' from Hunter Biden's laptop

President Joe Biden has consistently maintained that he has never talked with his son Hunter about his business dealings in Ukraine and China. Last week, though, the New York Post, the same outlet that had its Twitter account locked for weeks because it was dealing in “Russian disinformation” and “hacked materials,” reported that they’d been able to retrieve a voicemail in which Biden told Hunter, “I think you’re clear” — which certainly suggests whatever Hunter was up to might have been improper or illegal.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about that voicemail by Fox News’ Peter Doocy, but she said she’s not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop.

RealClearNews’ Philip Wegman followed up:

What’s their excuse for not talking about the laptop now, after both the New York Times and Washington Post (finally) confirmed it was authentic? No, Hunter’s not a public figure, but if his father’s voice is on that cellphone backup, that’s a different story.
