We get that it’s Pride Month and every branch of the military is going to hit us with its version of its pride tweet. Recruiters for the U.S. Air Force sent this tweet out Friday, showing some recruits apparently carrying the pride flag on their run.

Could we maybe have slipped an American flag in there somewhere, or is that being picky?
Our soldiers should not be marching with any flag that isn’t the American flag. https://t.co/fdBVstrM1C

Wrong flag.
Can any of those people run a mile in under 8 minutes? https://t.co/5m3vlxEFaq

The Air Force has switched allegiance. And here I thought the Navy would be the first to go.

So where is the American flag then?
— Theresa Maurer 🇺🇲 (@TheresaMaurer2) June 18, 2022
No American flag? Seems about right.

Your flag game is shameful. You are a disgrace.

I’m sure this will help with the recruiting shortfall.

I'm not sure which is more concerning… the fact that the pride flag takes precedent over our nation's flag or the seeming lack of a physical fitness requirement. Or is that considered body shaming?
— Word Salad (@DayOldWordSalad) June 17, 2022
No that’s an honest question. Me saying they look like the only place they could run is towards a buffet is body shaming.

By the looks of things that flag won't be carried far before they gas out.
