Comfortably Smug’s #HackMadness tournament is in full swing, and Thursday we learned that 2021’s champion, the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin, handily beat out the insane Keith Olbermann to advance toward another sweep:

We recently replied with great sadness that CBS News’ Mark Knoller, who we hope was being sarcastic, said President Joe Biden’s speech in Poland, which is already being walked back by the White House, topped Ronald Reagan’s “tear down this wall” speech. The Post’s Rubin, for whom we have no respect, thought Biden’s speech evoked not only Reagan but also John F. Kennedy’s speech at the Brandenburg Gate.
Biden makes a speech akin to those at the Brandenburg Gate by JFK and Reagan. In a square with a crowd. His delivery is quite strong.

President Kennedy's press secretary clarifies his remarks earlier today, telling pool reporters that he is not literally a Berliner and merely meant it symbolically in solidarity. https://t.co/SjaRR6okTF

You are fundamentally unserious. If his speeches are so good, why is the White House staff constantly doing damage control after? https://t.co/EhHee4vvFc

Biden is a failure of a president.
Stop comparing him to Reagan, you utter spoon. https://t.co/Q6RscGz3Zk

Both Reagan and Kennedy could have delivered a better speech today…and they're dead. https://t.co/PjOSwsEAkn

Name one line that people remember right now, just hours afterward.

Update:
Now she’s saying Biden ought to deliver a “parallel” speech at home to address the right-wing:
Biden should strongly consider a parallel speech here at home to address the threats to democracy posed not by a foreign dictator but a right-wing movement that also thinks “might makes right,” that also shows contempt for a free press and elections https://t.co/MwPbRB3jT5
