In case you missed it, TIME Magazine named Elon Musk its person of the year. TIME made it clear this wasn’t some sort of humanitarian award but rather a case of Musk’s influence, both good and bad, as well as, in Howard Kurtz’s words, his “flamboyant Twitter defiance.”
On Monday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren tweeted that she wanted to change the rigged tax code to stop TIME’s person of the year from freeloading off everyone else.
Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else. https://t.co/jqQxL9Run6

Warren didn’t tag Musk, but he eventually found her tweet and put some of that “flamboyant Twitter defiance” into action:
Stop projecting! https://t.co/Kibp6aS9vL

But wait, it gets better:
You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason

Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen 🙏

Is it possible to just celebrate somone because they're so damn smart and innovative and have given us so much?? 😐
— ConflictedGarys (@ConflictedGarys) December 14, 2021
Why are you like this? Elon Musk has done more for humanity, economic infrastructure and environmental impacts in the last 15 years than any politician in public office right now. Just be happy for the man he’s earned the right to be celebrated.

I'm perfectly fine with success that comes as a result of risking it all, building tens of thousands of jobs, and make products people love. Jealousy is risk free.

We love seeing Musk deal with both Warren and Bernie Sanders as he does. He’s the person of the year, and she’s still a fake Native American and failed presidential candidate.
