Pfizer CEO says fourth COVID vaccine dose might be needed earlier than anticipated

They fact-checked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis when he said that eventually you wouldn’t be considered fully vaccinated until you’d had three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. But pretty soon you might be needing a fourth shot.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told CNBC Wednesday that because of the Omicron variant, a fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine might be needed sooner than anticipated. Bourla said he originally expected a fourth dose 12 months after the third, but that might have to be moved up as we see more “real-world data.”

A lot of people will, though.
