The liberal media has finally found a Republican it can promote in Rep. Liz Cheney. As Twitchy told you Wednesday, the ousted House GOP Conference Chair promptly made a beeline for the “TODAY Show” and an interview with co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. We didn’t get much into the substance of the interview, but here’s a clip in which Guthrie tries to get Cheney to blame sexism in the party in part for her ouster. Cheney, to be honest, had a very good answer, but Guthrie is so enamored of Cheney, she says the quiet part out loud, calling the current situation “one woman against the Republican Party.”

This is the dumbest take of 2021. Did she get conference chair because of sexism, too? https://t.co/RDHLAi8glW

AND she will almost certainly be replaced by a woman.
Savannah Guthrie isn't terribly bright, but that's okay since her audience is demonstrably even slower of wit.

Yes, sexism, that's why we're pushing for @EliseStefanik to take that spot.

Couldn’t possibly be anything else. Sure.

Guthrie is such a tool for the left.

BREAKING NEWS: LIZ CHENEY IS A WOMAN
— Bunk Strutts (@BunkStrutts) May 13, 2021
What a stupid take. Her replacement is gonna be, wait for it, a WOMAN….. good grief.
— Right Wing Patriot (@wing_patriot) May 13, 2021
I heard the GOP kicked her out because they're all racists. Somebody else said it was due to climate change. Hard to know who to believe these days.

Why can’t a woman be criticized on merit? So many times they default to sexism….

My gawd, these people are so transparent and despicable.

Apparently no one knew that she was a woman when the GOP caucus elected her chair in the first place. Must’ve been a shock to find out she was a woman in time to vote “no.”
This absurd claim alone would be enough to disqualify her from ever holding a leadership role again.

LOL damn she is trying to appeal to the liberals 🤣
— ANJI USA PASSION🇺🇲🙏😘 (@usa_anji) May 13, 2021
Nope. Try again. Maybe, just maybe it’s because she keeps running her damn mouth with personal opinions instead of focusing on inflation, gas prices, food shortages, critical race theory and everything else she should be. She’s too damn focused on herself!

No you lost conference chair because you were not supporting your party. You had one job and couldn't do it?

Someday I'm going to eye roll myself into another dimension. Every minute of the day the news is crazier than the last minute.

“One woman against the Republican Party” … you think there might be a clue there as to why she was given the boot?
