Norfolk Police Department fires officer who was outed for donating $25 to defense fund for Kyle Rittenhouse

As Twitchy reported the other night, Twitter didn’t seem to care much about its policy on hacked materials when it promoted a story about a Christian crowdfunding site that had been breached. The Guardian traced email addresses back to their owners to identify by name people who’d donated to a defense fund for Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot and killed two people and injured a third during rioting in Kenosha over the shooting of Jacob Blake.

Among those outed was an officer with the Norfolk Police Department who’d donated $25:

Journalist Jason Wilson says the officer has been fired.

No word yet on the fate of the Utah paramedic who was tracked to his house after donating $10.

It seems on a day when a verdict was delivered in the Derek Chauvin trial, we’d be more aware of the fact that Rittenhouse hasn’t been convicted of anything?
