As Twitchy reported Sunday, in an interview on “Face the Nation,” White House National Security Officer Robert O’Brien said that impeachment inquiry witness Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman will be removed from his post on the National Security Council.
Actually, a lot of people are being removed from their posts and being sent back down to their own departments as part of a streamlining effort. O’Brien said that the NSC “got bloated to like 236 people” under the Obama administration. “We’re going to get that number down to around 100 people,” he said.
Scott Dworkin, co-founder of the Democratic Coalition and mastermind of the Impeachment Task Force, tweeted that President Trump had committed another impeachable offense in firing Vindman, on Veteran’s Day, no less.

Today we went from the Trump Admin saying Vindman was being removed from his NSC post, to now Vindman’s attorney saying he has not been fired and will serve out his post. One thing is clear, Trump is trying to get rid of Vindman. Probably stopped when folks sounded alarm tonight.
