Twitter keeps coming out with new rules and terms of service, and we keep getting more and more confused. We remember when Gay Patriot was suspended for “deadnaming” traitor Chelsea Manning. And then there was the blanket warning after a number of journalists were laid off that telling them to learn to code would be considered targeted harassment.
Now, The Daily Wire’s Ashe Schow is reporting that one of her best followers was permanently banned for calling CNN’s Brian Stelter a … no, we dare not say it.
One of my best Twitter followers just got suspended for calling Brian Stelter a “pansy.”
Said he violated Twitter’s “hateful conduct” policy.
Seriously?
— Ashe Schow (@AsheSchow) November 2, 2019
Update: the ban is now permanent.
He called someone a “pansy.” The historical meaning of this is that they are weak or afraid of a fight.
For this one of my best followers is gone.
— Ashe Schow (@AsheSchow) November 2, 2019
I've been called much worse on this platform.
— Carol Roth (@caroljsroth) November 2, 2019
Who hasn’t?
Are we not fact-checking anymore?
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) November 2, 2019
This is my thought. Isn't the truth a valid defense even in this day and age?
— Marshall Bravestar (@MBMessamore) November 2, 2019
He identifies as a tulip, you bigot.
— Eric Spencer (@JustEric) November 2, 2019
Should have just called him Tater pic.twitter.com/oozRsoaJdU
— Stacey (@ScotsFyre) November 2, 2019
I can’t even get Stelter to block me.
— Matthew Dempster (@dempstermd) November 2, 2019
The key to getting Stelter to block you is not to call him names but approach his hypocritical work with logic and examples. That's what did it for me.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) November 2, 2019
Just figured I’m not big enough to even pay attention to.
— Matthew Dempster (@dempstermd) November 2, 2019
Point out the name of his show when he has Dan Rather on as a guest. He LOVES that.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) November 2, 2019
Exact thing happened to me. Mine was a 12-hour suspension for calling pudgy the same word. Must be some kind of trigger word on Twitter.
— Lady L. North (@LadyLNorth) November 2, 2019
Yep, I was Twitter spanked once for using that word too. Ridiculous. ??
— Gran ?? (@GranTweets2) November 2, 2019
Yes i got suspended for the same word. LOL same person too
— Nevada Artist (@NevadaArtist) November 3, 2019
Have they read any of the hateful ugly assaultive tweets against Conservatives? Guess not.
— Sherry Kerdman (@sherry_kerdman) November 2, 2019
Leave it to Jack & Twitter to think pansy as hateful but the NYTimes employee is still here on twitter after tweet after tweet about hating white people…
— Jeff Ellington ??? (@Jeff__Ellington) November 3, 2019
And yet, Tom Arnold is still here.
— Susan D S (@suzeroo217) November 2, 2019
So Tom Arnold can't be far behind?
— Like a boss!????♂️ (@balderdash02) November 2, 2019
I wonder if you can call him a flower or a turd blossom
— Underdog (@rdbrewer4) November 2, 2019
I say let a thousand flowers bloom.

Next time, say it with a picture. pic.twitter.com/PH4wRiebSg

What if it's spelled "panzi"?
— ?It's?Almost ⛄️Christmas? (@jtLOL) November 2, 2019
Weaponizing the arbitrary standards of Twitter I see.
— Lord Flexcanor: The Lifting Sin of Pride (@Malcolm_fleX48) November 2, 2019
Looks pretty hateful to me. pic.twitter.com/g5VkvvadBI
— Sir Joseph Greenfellow (@SGreenfellow) November 2, 2019
I always thought Brian Stelter was more like crabgrass.
— The Red-Headed Libertarian™️ (@TRHLofficial) November 2, 2019
I did some time in Twitter Jail for telling Beto to go jump in a lake.
"Encouraging self-harm," they said.
— ? ?????????? ? ? (@SisyphusGoals) November 2, 2019
I'm not even being cheeky. This is an actual thing that actually happened.
— ? ?????????? ? ? (@SisyphusGoals) November 2, 2019
this is what happens when online mobs mass report tweets they merely just dont like.
— Perennial Misfit (@MisfitPerennial) November 2, 2019
Maybe he is a peony and does not like being called a pansy.
— Rick (@rickytwalsh) November 2, 2019
More like a shrinking violet – but the point stands

A harmless kid taunt, even by preteens, going back at least 60 years. Have to check further back.
— Kenneth Walsh (@kenwalsh77) November 2, 2019
Shelter blocked me long ago. Why? Because he’s a pansy.
— Joe Pallone (@Plonerock) November 2, 2019
In any case, add that one to your list of words to avoid, along with l***n to c**e.
