As Twitchy reported the other day, we should all expect plenty of doom-and-gloom headlines about the limited government shutdown, and John Stossel had already had enough:

That tweet would have you believe that NORAD’s Santa tracking was on the chopping block, but The Hill’s own article reports that 1) volunteers run the program, and 2) the Department of Defense has a full year of funding and will not stop operating.
In the event of a government shutdown, NORAD will continue with its 63-year tradition of NORAD Tracks Santa on Dec. 24. Military personnel who conduct NORAD Tracks Santa are supported by approximately 1,500 volunteers who make the program possible each and every year. pic.twitter.com/fY0oyjrdDc

They know the defense appropriations bill passed in September.
They know the Pentagon is funded for 2019 and is exempt from the shutdown.
