Pregnant actress at Hillary's Javits Center sob-fest imagined giving her baby away to Canadians or Swedes

Ah, the Javits Center in New York, with its literal glass ceiling, was the perfect venue for Hillary Clinton to celebrate her 2016 election victory. By now, though, we’ve all heard stories and seen photos of supporters lying on the floor weeping and some vomiting in the restrooms as the election numbers came in.

Actress Amber Tamblyn of “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” recalled that night at something called the “Feminist AF” reading series Sunday, and the Hollywood Reporter gave a summary of each participant’s offering, including Tamblyn’s fear that she might have to give her baby daughter to a Canadian or a Swede.

Katie Kilkenny reports:

As the night wore on and it became clear that Clinton was facing a steep challenge to the presidency, “I swigged some more Zantac, and my baby shoved her foot into my ribs, as if to foreshadow the pain that was yet to come,” Tamblyn read. Her line “Katy Perry anxiously chewed on a celery stick” drew some laughs. When Clinton’s director of strategic communications informed Javits Center attendees that Clinton would not be speaking, Tamblyn came to a grim conclusion: “A dark realization swallowed me: I was going to bring a baby into this world. And not just any baby: a girl.” Tamblyn recalled imagining if she should give her baby away to Canadians or Swedes.

Why is it always the Canadians with these liberals and never Mexico?
