CNN’s town hall Wednesday night was a “show trial” in the words of Ben Shapiro, and despite the presence of moderator Jake Tapper, it played out like a tag-team match featuring Sen. Marco Rubio and NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch vs. every other person in the venue.
Thursday night, just 24 hours after a crowd jeered Loesch and called her a murderer while cheering on Broward Sheriff Scott Israel, Tapper tweeted some updates to the Stoneman Douglas story that would have been nice to have been addressed in public Wednesday.
