Ben Shapiro is scheduled to give a lecture at the University of Connecticut January 24, and Spencer Brown of Young America’s Foundation has evidence that the university is clearly opposed to bringing a conservative speaker like Shapiro to campus.
If you need more proof of UConn’s clear opposition to conservative ideas and @benshapiro, look no further than the words of the University of Connecticut’s own “Chief Diversity Officer” Joelle Murchison in an email to students ahead of Shapiro’s lecture. https://t.co/7abRLq9Np8 pic.twitter.com/CTWoruO98L

That’s the university’s Chief Diversity Officer emailing students to encourage them to “please utilize the many campus resources available to you should you want to talk through your feelings” regarding Shapiro’s presence on campus, as his views “can be concerning and even hurtful.”
Note that students can talk through their feelings of concern and hurt before Shapiro even arrives on campus and utters a single word.
The idea that a college student would need to “talk through” their feelings because a speaker is coming, is seriously sad! https://t.co/csnJvraVG0

no wonder these snow flakes fail in life, they are coddled by these joke universities and have no emotional or intellectual maturity @benshapiro @UConnHuskies https://t.co/Jr8MhrjHfM

The future of our country is at peril, Thanks to these asinine attempts to protect students from being upset that others have differing opinions. #StopTheNonesense #GrowUp

OK seriously? This is what it's coming to on college campuses? Just the thought of an opposing viewpoint offends someone? The horror. I went to the most liberal institution in Texas and heard/saw all kinds of things I disagreed with but I didn't go rock and sob in a corner… https://t.co/HpKn2vb5l4

The comment "the views that Mr. Shapiro expresses can be concerning and even hurtful" is just bs. What has @benshapiro ever said or done that is hurtful to anyone?

Well, his pinned tweet reads, “Facts don’t care about your feelings.” That’s pretty unfeeling.
This the definition of bigotry. Look it up. https://t.co/yPp1M4mlSv
