GOP committee members vote not to obtain President Trump's tax returns; Alyssa Milano triggered

Two hot trends for the 2016–17 political season are a new interest in “obscure” rules and regulations (such as Rule 19) and social media meltdowns from sitcom child stars of the 20th century turned liberal activists.

One story Tuesday checked both boxes: After a straight party-line vote, the House Ways and Means Committee decided it would not request President Trump’s tax returns from the Treasury, and that news sent Alyssa Milano screaming.

According to the AP, the obscure law allows the committee to obtain confidential tax records and then vote to make them public. Democrats argued that obtaining the tax returns amounted to a national security issue, as they could contain clues to alleged collusion between Trump and the Russians.

“Trump has said he has no investments in Russia, and Democrats acknowledged that have no evidence otherwise,” the AP reported, adding that the lack of evidence is what so bothered Rep. Joseph Crowley (R-N.Y.).

Hopefully Harry Reid is relaxing somewhere and won’t feel compelled to share any anecdotes from his imaginary friends who’ve seen the returns and the damning information they have him convinced is contained within.

But no one mention Hillary’s private server and tens of thousands of deleted emails, OK?
