As Twitchy reported, one-time presidential hopeful “Lyin’ Ted” is now working the phone banks for other candidates (Sad!), while it seems another Cruz continues to gain momentum as a political force with access to power that most adults could only dream of having.
Yes, little Sophie Cruz is back and looking once again to parlay her cuteness into a high-visibility appearance, this time at Sunday night’s debate, according to a report in The Hill Thursday.

The Hill reports that the moderators of Sunday night’s debate have agreed to consider the top 30 questions posted to the site presidentialopenquestions.com for presentation to the candidates. Among the most popular is one submitted by 6-year-old Sophie, and it’s received a push by Def Jam Records co-founder Russell Simmons.

Sophie’s question reads:
If you deport my parents, what happens to me? I am 6 years old and an American citizen. I have a 3 year old sister who is also an American. My heart is very sad, because I’m scared that ICE is going to deport my undocumented mommy and daddy.
There’s no guarantee Sophie’s question will make the cut, but if it does, it’s certain to grab plenty of attention — not that she’s had any problem grabbing attention so far. Last September, at age 5, she managed to hand-deliver a letter to a very, very heavily guarded Pope Francis as his motorcade wound through Washington, D.C.
What did the letter say? Good thing the press was able to score copies very easily and spread Sophie’s message worldwide, as the supposedly spontaneous encounter had been fully orchestrated by a group called the Full Rights for Immigrants Coalition.

A few months later, Sophie appeared in a video by FWD.us, an advocacy group backed by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, which intercut animated segments depicting children of illegals being snatched off the playground by immigration officials with footage of “the innocent eyes of six-year-old Sophie and her love for her mommy.”
She also managed to capture the attention of the media at a protest outside the Supreme Court this April.
Will reporters’ hearts melt again if Sophie’s question makes it into Sunday night’s debate? It seems that’s up to the moderators to decide … so, yeah, it probably will.

Maybe if her parents would apply for Citizenship then she wouldn't have to be so sad?

Considering she and other children of illegals are so afraid of being deported at any moment, they don’t seem to be trying too hard to stay in the shadows.
