PPP is one of the few pollsters out there that’s willing to present the full menu of choices, as well as some side dishes the chef has hidden in the back.
Given the choice, PPP says that Texas voters would rather have a helping of Deez Nuts, the teenager from Iowa who one year ago filed FEC paperwork to run for president, than Stein.

It’s not all bad news for Stein; two weeks ago she was trailing Harambe, the gorilla shot dead at the Cincinnati Zoo last May, by 3 percentage points nationally, but has managed to make up the distance in the interim. Both Harambe and Stein are well poised to lick Deez Nuts with a little effort; adding Nuts to the party mix shows both Harambe and Stein down by only 1.

For what it’s worth, Deez Nuts proved much more popular among African-Americans than whites, although Hispanics weren’t tempted.
