Violence surrounding Donald Trump at his rallies and other official events is dominating the headlines in the hours before tonight’s GOP debate in Miami, Fla. As Twitchy reported, a 78-year-old man was charged with assault and battery after sucker-punching protester Rakeem Jones at Trump’s rally in Fayetteville, N.C.
The man accused of throwing the punch, which was caught on video, was identified as John McGraw. “Inside Edition” caught up with McGraw, whom they described as “unrepentant” in an interview. McGraw told Inside Edition, “You bet I liked it. Knocking the hell out of that big mouth.”
Remember how former University of Missouri assistant professor Melissa Click claimed she went searching for “muscle” to eject a student reporter from a protest because she feared he might be packing a firearm? McGraw put that excuse to shame, claiming he suspected the protester might be a member of ISIS.

He deserved it? This is sounding more like Trump’s campaign manager explaining the bruises on Michelle Fields’ arm.

@rebeccagberg So, an old weirdo shows up at your party and punches a guy. Your fault? No. His fault. Simple.
