'Stud' Ted Cruz wins CPAC straw poll (and is in great shape elsewhere)

Sen. Ted Cruz easily won the CPAC 2016 straw poll, beating second-place finisher Marco Rubio by a wide margin and more than doubling Donald Trump’s vote count.

Fifteen percent really isn’t bad, considering that Trump canceled his appearance at CPAC at the last minute to campaign in Kansas.

Speaking of Kansas, early returns there and in Maine suggest that Cruz is going to have a very good day today when races are called.
