To be honest, we’ve never known what Valerie Jarrett’s actual job is at the White House — only that she’s the one who tells President Obama what to do when he’s not busy golfing. Apparently she also oversees the White House Offices of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, and chairs the White House Council on Women and Girls.
Whatever it is she does, she’s thrilled today to introduce her newest team member, Jaan Williams.
