President Obama granted Reuters an exclusive interview Monday that covered topics ranging from Russia to China to the Keystone XL pipeline. The primary topic, though, was Israel and Speaker John Boehner’s invitation for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress, which will happen Tuesday.
The complete text of the interview can be found on the Reuters website, but one of the most infuriating bits is Obama’s refusal to deny National Security Advisor Susan Rice’s assessment that Netanyahu’s acceptance of Boehner’s invitation was “destructive to the fabric of the relationship” between the United States and Israel. “I don’t think it’s permanently destructive,” Obama conceded. “I think that it is a distraction from what should be our focus.”
That was enough to set off columnist and best-selling author David Limbaugh.
Some libs are slamming Bibi for coming to criticize Obama. He won’t. This isn't about Obama. Get over yourselves. He’ll talk about Iran nukes

Bibi is coming to talk about a grave and growing threat to world peace & our security. Obama won’t deal with it.
— David Limbaugh (@DavidLimbaugh) March 2, 2015
I bet Bibi won’t utter a word of criticism vs Obama. He’ll highlight the threat that Obama chooses to be blind to. That’s not slamming Obama
— David Limbaugh (@DavidLimbaugh) March 2, 2015
I am not splitting hairs. Boehner wants Bibi’s views to get global publicity. They should get global publicity. Obama is holding us hostage.

In a perfect world, he’d slam Obama and tell everyone just how reckless he is, but that’s a pipe dream. It’s not going to happen.

Obama announced that he wouldn’t be attending the speech because meeting with a foreign leader facing an upcoming election could look like an endorsement and therefore be a violation of protocol — which doesn’t explain why he can’t catch the address on C-SPAN once SportsCenter wraps for the morning.
senior WH adviser tells @GloriaBorger that POTUS will not watch @netanyahu speech to Congress tomorrow.
"Think he is in meetings."

Is Congress supposed to abdicate it’s responsibility over some silly protocol issue? O won’t even respect Constitution & he argues protocol?
— David Limbaugh (@DavidLimbaugh) March 2, 2015
Shorter Obama: “I will not meet with Bibi because 1) I’m a petulant, non-adult; 2) I only interfere w/ foreign elections on my terms.
