KUSA-TV reports:

The damage happened during a planned protest that drew around 100 demonstrators, who marched from the Denver jail to police headquarters, a DPD spokesperson said. Some held signs in support of Jessica Hernandez, a 17-year-old who was shot and killed by Denver Police last month while she was driving a stolen car that ended up striking a Denver Police officer.

Police say that Hernandez was shot after the stolen car she was in hit an officer, pinning him against a fence and breaking his leg. There were four other people in the car.
