Denver group advertises 'Coffee Not Cops' meet-up with photo of flaming police car

Colorado residents who’ve been searching for a place to enjoy coffee and hate the police at the same time have finally organized their own weekly get-together in Denver. The news was announced on the above poster, which features a burning police car and an enticement to “envision a world without police.”

Denver is certainly not the only city with a “coffee not cops” get-together; the concept seems to have originated in … you’ll never guess … Berkeley, Calif., where the event offered “free coffee for everyone but the pigs.”
