After several high-profile screw-ups and scandals last year, the last thing the Secret Service needs is another ding to its already sullied reputation. Maybe that’s the reason the Secret Service has informed journalists that, no, they didn’t veto President Obama’s trip to the unity march in Paris for security reasons, nor was there not enough time to prepare.
