As Twitchy reported this morning, there were plenty of large bills being exchanged this Black Friday, even though the activist hashtag #NotOneDime managed to trend rather highly. Motivational speaker and author Kelvin Troy Johnson attempted a one-man hijack of the hashtag, but not without some blowback.
#NotOneDime is what the poor store owners have after looters destroyed the source that feeds their families. #furgeson

Who will march for the store owner who was robbed by #MikeBrown? Then looted and destroyed by protestors? #unspokentruth #furgeson

This man?
Owner of Ferguson Market and Liquor standing in his looted store. Sad. https://t.co/s84pMRCyLl #Ferguson

As a Blk Male I teach my children how to earn money for themselves so they never have to rob and get shot in the street by police. #furgeson

Looting is a sport reserved for the poor and ignorant. Have you ever seen wealthy looters? #LootersareLosers! #furgeson @rolandsmartin

TV One host Roland S. Martin has seen plenty of wealthy looters.
.@KelvinJohnson yes, I have seen wealthy looters. They have their own street: Wall Street. You might want to try someone who can't read.

.@KelvinJohnson More wealthy looters? The defense contractors that charge taxpayers for cost overruns & build them into their proposals.
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 28, 2014
.@KelvinJohnson More wealthy looters? The banks that took TARP funds for toxic assets and just bolstered their bottom line, kept the assets.

.@KelvinJohnson Instead of hawking your book read a few other books to understand wealthy looters in America. We have a LONG history of them
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 28, 2014
@rolandsmartin just concerned for the people who lost businesses and employment because of protestors turned looters. Not much care 4 them.
— Kelvin Troy Johnson (@KelvinJohnson) November 28, 2014
@rolandsmartin trust me, hawking my book not at all my intention. I read a lot that's why I don't just go along with the crowd with issues
— Kelvin Troy Johnson (@KelvinJohnson) November 28, 2014
.@KelvinJohnson You said the wealthy don't loot. I gave you clear examples. Poor do it with their feet. Rich do it with @Montblanc_US pens.
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) November 28, 2014
.@Thomasismyuncle @KelvinJohnson I don't defend looters. I despise them all: in riots, on Wall Street, and defense contractors. Do y'all?

Back to Johnson’s point: We’re sure Martin has heard of a little thing called Occupy Wall Street that’s been protesting the rich since 2011 — so who will march for the Ferguson store owner whose small business was looted and destroyed by protestors? Anyone?
