Vox then: Little chance of Ebola reaching US; Vox now: Virus poised to spread around globe

As anyone who has gotten lost looking for the famous Gaza-West Bank bridge can tell you, Vox isn’t to be trusted when it comes to maps or geography. Vox can’t be stopped, though, and today has published a map of where Ebola is likely to go next. We suppose this supersedes Vox’s early September map, shown below, which predicted only an 18 percent chance of Ebola ever reaching American shores.

Now, however, it’s a given with Vox that Ebola will not only reach the U.S. but also spread around a good portion of the globe.
