Hold up a minute now, #Factivists. Didn’t Sandra Fluke educate us all on the true cost of birth control? Preventive health care, that is.

She testified that, “Without insurance coverage, contraception … can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school.” That’s $1,000 a year for birth control. So where did this “up to $600 a year” number come from? That’s a relative bargain.

And what about men buying birth control? It’s been known to happen, too.
