Cher has been following the debt ceiling showdown closely from the road and has declared the possible effects catastrophic, devastating, and “cataclysmic for the multitudes.” The House and Senate continue to hammer out a deal, and Cher’s last all-caps rant seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Actually, the latest amendment proposed by Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) would go a long way toward holding the U.S. government to the same standards as its citizens,by forcing members of Congress and their staffs onto the health insurance exchanges set up by the Affordable Care Act.
What does "full vitter" mean? Lawmakers staff would lose employer contrib for h care. Tough position for members. Many worried about staff
