Cher: No Christmas this year if Tea-hadists have their way

Cher has been following the debt ceiling showdown closely from the road and has declared the possible effects catastrophic, devastating, and “cataclysmic for the multitudes.” The House and Senate continue to hammer out a deal, and Cher’s last all-caps rant seems to have fallen on deaf ears. There’s only one solution, then: another all-caps rant. And this time, Christmas itself is at stake.

Actually, the latest amendment proposed by Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) would go a long way toward holding the U.S. government to the same standards as its citizens,by forcing members of Congress and their staffs onto the health insurance exchanges set up by the Affordable Care Act.
