House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi elicited boos and hissing from the progressive Netroots Nation audience this afternoon with her criticism of NSA leaker Edward Snowden, but to be fair, the majority of her presentation went over well. One venue where Pelosi scored well with the gathering of lefty bloggers and activists was the restroom. Transgender bathrooms are an important component of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or ENDA, and on the subject of toilets, Pelosi suggested a solution that might not cost billions of taxpayer dollars.

One question for Rep. Pelosi: are the “unisex” signs going up in the Capitol Building too, or is this going to be another one of those things like Obamacare that applies to the little people only? Maybe a committee should study it first.
