Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) has announced that he will not pursue a Senate seat in 2014 because of “urgent battles in Congress” that require his attention. King made the announcement Friday night in an email to supporters, writing that he hopes by remaining in the House he can help “keep the Leftist genie in the bottle.”
