Now that YouTube video of the Democrats’ voice vote on restoring God and Jerusalem to the party’s platform has surfaced, you can judge for yourself just how close that “close” vote really was. The Daily Kos’ Markos Moulitsas is among those who clearly did not hear a two-thirds majority respond affirmatively to convention chairman Antonio Villaraigosa, and he’s not happy.
The nos have it

Fuck you, Villaraigosa.

Yesterday, Democrats were strong and proud. Today, they caved to conservative bullshit.

Moulitsas isn’t alone in his opinion that “God-given potential” and the acknowledgement of Jerusalem are “conservative bullshit” — the language was restored amid loud boos from the convention floor. But how long can Moulitsas stay angry?
Now @Markos will quickly shift from "that was conservative bullshit" to "what a brilliant decision" in a few minutes.
