Last week U.S. Rep. Todd Akin was the congressman nearly no one had heard of, but his comments about rape and abortion Sunday turned the tables, leaving celebrities talking about him.
Hollywood was quick to pile on, and as the deadline for Akin’s withdrawal from the Missouri Senate race looms, celebrities are continuing to hammer for Akin’s departure.
Speaking of the ’60s, Peter Fonda is pushing for Akin to be removed from the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, quoting a line from “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”
