That is, if a trans boy can’t get his perfectly healthy breasts removed, he’s probably going to commit suicide. We’re not aware of any long-term studies that track trans minors through the “honeymoon period” of being surgically altered to their 30s or 40s. At least one study out of Sweden says the claim is a myth:

We believe this is the hearing at which Democratic Florida Rep. Anna Eskamani claimed that the GOP is “erasing our trans babies!” The proposed bill, SB 254, would limit the access minors have to sex reassignment treatment … which is genocide. Also, the Republicans supporting the bill are Nazis.

The California Assembly took up a bill called the “Transgender State of Refuge,” and Gov. Gavin Newsom has promised that minors can get gender transitions in California without parental consent.
It almost seems like they need mental health support, not puberty blockers, hormone therapy and surgery.
