There was talk of not seating Republican Rep. George Santos because his whole resume was a lie, much like the president’s. Santos didn’t back down, is getting committee assignments, and has actually gained a lot of fans. Yeah, he lied, but so did Richard Blumenthal and Elizabeth Warren, and they certainly didn’t go anywhere.
Freelance reporter and MSNBC columnist Marisa Kabas has an important update for us — she’s confirmed that Santos was a drag queen named Kitara when he lived near Rio. So that much is true, according to the Brazilian drag queen she spoke to.
