January 6 is like a high-school couple’s anniversary; you don’t just celebrate the year, you celebrate the first week, and the first month, and the sixth month. The Biden administration and the media act as though January 6 has gone somewhere. Remember Wolf Blitzer bravely reporting in from the nine-month anniversary of January 6?
Nine months ago today – on Jan. 6, 2021 – an angry mob attacked the U.S. Capitol. I walked around the complex today and it was very calm. As you know, the perimeter security fence is gone – at least for now. pic.twitter.com/RnZux8JNpX

Someone asked press secretary Jen Psaki if the Biden administration was going to somehow commemorate the first anniversary of the storming of the Capitol, and obviously, yes, they are.
Jen Psaki says she expects Joe Biden to recognize the anniversary of January 6th
“I think there’s no question you’ll see us commemorate that day.”

The Biden administration has no doubt already commissioned Ken Burns to craft a documentary about that day, narrated by David McCullough as violinists play Ashokan Farewell. https://t.co/dqIG97teor

Sen. Chuck Schumer even ranked it up there with Pearl Harbor, saying it would be added to “that very short list of dates in American history that will live forever in infamy.” They’re damn well sure making certain it lives forever.
